I typed 'the water cycle' and had a class quiz in ten seconds flat. It's the first tool my whole department adopted.

FAQ

Good to know

How does the class play?

Project the emoji clue and take shouted guesses, or have students join from their own devices and type answers — whichever energy level your afternoon needs.

Do students need devices?

No. It's built for the projector; devices with a join code are optional when you want individual answers on record.

Can AI write puzzles on my topic?

Yes. Ask for emoji puzzles about your unit, class novels, or vocabulary and it writes a round in under a minute — or author your own.

Is it free?

Yes. Guessmoji is included on Boardee's free tier with every other game type.

Do students need accounts?

Never. Students join with a code and a name — no emails, no passwords. Teachers don't need an account to try it either.
