How it works

Three steps, zero setup

No setup screen, no import wizard — Text lives on the same board as everything else and it's running before the class has sat down.

1

Open the dock and tap Text

A text box lands on the board. Click in and start typing.

2

Style it

Pick a font, size it up, set the alignment. Bold the word that matters.

Place it

Drag it wherever it belongs — a heading up top, instructions by the task, a label next to anything.

Classroom ideas

Try it tomorrow

Three ways teachers actually run text — steal one for tomorrow morning.

Objective, permanently visible

The learning objective big in a corner for the whole lesson. Observers love it; more importantly, students actually refer to it.

Word of the week

One giant word, its meaning small underneath. Watch it sneak into their writing by Thursday.

Label the board itself

'Turn in here', 'Early finishers', 'Today's links' — a few labels and the board explains itself while you teach.

My class actually cheers when the Boardee background loads. Transitions that used to eat five minutes now take five seconds.

Type what must stay legible; sketch the rest.

Quote of the Day

Promote the week's best quote to a permanent spot on the board.

FAQ

Good to know

How big can the text go?

Big enough for the back row squinting from behind a monitor. Size the font up, or just stretch the whole box.

Can I have multiple text boxes?

As many as you like. Headings, labels, instructions — each is its own widget you can move independently.

Does it do formatting?

The essentials: fonts, sizes, alignment and emphasis. It's built for board-sized messages, not essays.

Do I need an account to try it?

No — no login, no install. Everything you write saves with the board on this device; an account is only for other devices.
